Turning of the highest quality
In turning, the part rotates against fixed tools or is machined with driven tools. Many people think that turning always leads to round parts. It is true that the round shape is often a base, but we also use lathes to produce many other shapes with the machines' driven tools. Our lathes can also drill, mill, thread and much more in the same process.
Efficient manufacturing requires automation. Our lathes have bar magazines that we can load with bars between 6-80 mm thickness. We can then automate the manufacturing process via magazines that hold sawn cuttings (customised sawn pieces of bar material) up to 220 mm diameter with robotic loading.
Turning can produce very fine surfaces, but be aware that high tolerances and surface roughness requirements also mean that manufacturing takes longer.
